Welcome to Stanwick Class...

During the spring term, Stanwick class will be learning all about life in Roman time, how volcanoes are formed and what happened to the Roman city of Pompeii.  In art we will be looking at still life paintings, composition, shades and tints and representing three dimension.  We will look at work by Paul Cezanne, Jack Vettriano and Clara Peeters.  Our focus in design and technology will link to our work in science last term on electricity, where we will be desiging and making torches.  In science we will be finding out about rocks, soils and fossils.

Please take a look at the termly curriulum newsletter for further information.

Here are some of the books that Stanwick class will be using this term which you may like to purchase and read with your child are home:

About Us

We are a small well-resourced Church of England primary school with 89 pupils currently on roll. At Milton, there is a strong Christian ethos that pervades all areas of school life. We have strong links with our local church and community. There is a good 'family' feel - we know each other well.

New children are assigned a 'buddy', settle well and make friends quickly. We are pleased to be a member of the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust. Click here for the PDET news page.
