Vision and Values

We are a small well-resourced Church of England primary school with 89 pupils currently on roll. At Milton, there is a strong Christian ethos that pervades all areas of school life. We have strong links with our local church and community. There is a good 'family' feel - we know each other well. 

Our School Vision

Milton Parochial Primary School is a Christian values-based Church school at the heart of our community, where we strive for excellence and encourage and nurture every child to reach their God-given full potential to flourish – educationally, personally, morally and spiritually.

Love your neighbour as yourself (Matthew 22:36-40) and do to others as you’d have them do to you (Luke 6:31)

Our Values 

Kindness

We think of others and treat them how we would like to be treated.

“So in everything, do to others as you would have them do to you.” Matthew 7:12

Respect

We value everyone and everything.

“In everything set them an example by doing what is good.” Titus 2:7

Responsibility

We take ownership of our actions.

“Everyone should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, for each one should carry their own load.” Galatians 6:4-5

Honesty

We tell the truth.

“For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of Man.” 2 Corinthians 8:21

Perseverance

We never give up.

“I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first.” Revelations 2:1 

Love

We show care towards each other.

“Dear children, let us not love with word or speech, but with actions and in truth.” 1 John 3:18 

Forgiveness

We learn from our mistakes and we do not remember wrongs.

“Be kind and compassionate to each other, forgive each other, just as in Christ, God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32
